idle time...

i had to write this...
today morning...zee news par...there is news that a 17 yr old boy does dushkarm (i guess that means homosexual assault) with a 8 yr old kid...
the studio presenter asks the reporter...aapko kya lagta hai iska kya kaaran ho sakta hai
first of all a very silly question to ask...the reporter is a girl
however...the reporter being a reporter n then the media being media n therefore having an opinion on the cause of everything she says...aajkal ki baccho ke paas koi zimmedaari nahi hai..itna khaali waqt hai ki yeh sab hota hai...
wat the hell???? if u have idle time then u become a homosexual maniac or wat? going by that argument , all the guys in my neighbourhood should have been repeatedly faced assaults by me (me, jiski waise hi homos se phatti hai, but mere paas idle time hai...hence i have the motive)

is desh ki media ka kya hoga?

lol...that last line was funny.
these chaubees/saat news channel just want to fill their time slots. so they will sensationalize even the smallest of the happenings and make a big hue and cry abt it. plus instead of representing just facts they will always add mirch masala and give their oh-so-valuable opinions(jiske bina toh unka program complete nahin hota)
its a shame that Indian media has fallen to such an abyss. its all a sham. toh agar ek idle aur sick-minded baccha aisa karega toh kuch bhi soche samjhe bina sab bacchon ko malign kar dete hai.

That's the Indian media for you.

I blame our socialistic, protectionist, and "keep your head buried in the ground like a prized ostrich" mentality for it. But then I also blame the weather. :P

Can't just blame the media. People in the media are the by products of our society( western influence or not). They will cater to our cultural needs. They won't tell us what we don't want to hear until we learn to stomach it. We can blame the west for our corruption, but then the buck has to stop somewhere.

Read about memes. It's an interesting concept. Memes are like genetics. Things that are taken for granted and that are hard to break out of. Some theorists believe that memes are inherited like genes.
